Faq For Medicine
Q1. What is Letpro 2.5 mg for?
Main use: Hormone-positive breast cancer in women who have gone through menopause.
Secondary use: Induction of ovulation in cases of infertility (off-label).
Q2. Can Letrozole help you get pregnant?
Yes. Many women with PCOS or unexplained infertility use it to help them ovulate.
Q 3. How long does it take to get to work?
For breast cancer, it operates slowly over the course of weeks to months.
For ovulation induction: ovulation normally happens 5 to 10 days following the last pill.
Q4. Is it safe for ladies who haven't gone through menopause yet?
Not usually, unless a gynecologist is watching for fertility treatment.
Q5. Is it a hormone?
No. It is an aromatase inhibitor that lowers the amount of estrogen in the body.
Q6. Can it make you lose your pregnancy early?
It shouldn't be used after ovulation unless a doctor says so, because it could impair the early stages of pregnancy.
