Uses / Indications:
Unitrocin 125mg Dry Syrup is used in the treatment of bacterial infections. It is used in infections of tonsils, sinus, ear, nose, throat, skin and soft tissues, windpipe and lungs (pneumonia).

Pregnancy interaction:
Unitrocin 125mg Dry Syrup may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Expert advice:
Unitrocin will cure your infection and improve symptoms. It may cause an upset stomach. If this happens to you, take it with food. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Diarrhea may occur as a side effect but should stop when your course is complete. Inform your doctor if it doesn't stop or if you find blood in your stools. Do not take antacids 2 hours before or after taking Unitrocin.

How to use:
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Dissolve the powder in sterile water. Shake well and use. Unitrocin 125mg Dry Syrup may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.Take it with food if you are experiencing stomach upset.Avoid Unitrocin 125mg Dry Syrup with tyramine-rich food such as cheese, smoked fish, meats and some types of beer.
How it works:
Unitrocin 125mg Dry Syrup is a macrolide antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by inhibiting synthesis of essential proteins, which are required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.
