Expert Advice
- Use just on vitiligo spots, not on healthy skin.
- Some doctors say that for best outcomes, you should let the treated region get some sun in the morning for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Use sunscreen on skin that isn't impacted to keep it from getting darker or lighter.
- Do not put on broken, diseased, or irritated skin.
- You need to be patient and keep using vitiligo treatment; don't stop all of a sudden.
- As directed by a dermatologist, it can be used with phototherapy or other topical treatments.
Side Effects
- Normal:
- A little bit of irritation
- Feeling like you're on fire

How it works
- Melbild has Deca-Peptide, which is a synthetic peptide that
- Encourages melanocyte migration (the movement of cells that make pigment)
- Encourages the activation and growth of melanocytes
- Makes more melanin
- Helps to color white spots in vitiligo again
- It works best when you use it regularly and occasionally with light therapy.
Medicine Interaction
- Melbild is a topical medicine, thus it doesn't interact with other drugs in the body very much.
- If you are taking combination therapy, don't use additional medicated creams (steroids, tacrolimus, or pimecrolimus) at the same time. Wait 2 to 3 hours between applications.
- Don't use strong perfumes, makeup, or harsh skin care products on the region that was treated.
- If you are getting NB-UVB or PUVA phototherapy, make sure to follow your dermatologist's recommendations exactly.
How to Use
- Clean and dry: Gently wash the area that is affected and then pat it dry.
- Use:
- Only put a thin, even layer of Melbild Solution on the white vitiligo spots.
- Don't rub too hard.
- How often:
- Usually taken once a day, generally at night or as directed.
- Sun exposure (if recommended):
- A little bit of sunlight the next morning for 10 to 15 minutes may help the skin get its color back.
- Cautions:
- Only for outside use.
