How It Works
- An azole-class antifungal is luliconazole.
- It stops the production of ergosterol, which is an important part of fungal cell membranes.
- Fungal cells break down and die without ergosterol, which makes them weaker.
- Very good at killing dermatophytes, which are fungi that cause jock itch and ringworm.
Medicines interaction
- Don't use more than one antifungal cream at a time unless your doctor tells you to.
- Don't mix with topical steroids, which could hide symptoms.
- Leave 30 minutes between using this and other skin-care products.
- There aren't any severe systemic interactions because the absorption is modest.
How to Use
- Clean the area that is affected and dry it well.
- Put a thin coating of the cream on the affected region and one inch beyond its edge.
- Gently rub it in until it is gone.
- Once a day, generally at night.
- Follow the doctor's orders and keep taking the medicine for 1–2 weeks.
