Expert advice
- Before applying, make sure the area is completely clean and dry.
- Once a day, put on a thin, uniform coating.
- Don't wear tight or non-breathable clothes over the area that was treated.
- Keep yourself clean by washing your hands, keeping the area dry, and not sharing towels or clothes.

- If the redness, burning, or irritation gets worse, stop using it and see your doctor.
Side Effects
- Feeling of burning
- Itching
- Dryness
- Redness of the skin
- Flaking or peeling
- Not as common:
- Swelling
- A very itchy or allergic rash
- If you have serious symptoms, stop using it and visit a doctor.
How It Works
- Luliconazole is an antifungal drug that belongs to the azole class.
- It stops the production of ergosterol, an important lipid that fungal cells need for their membranes.
- Fungal cells get weaker, break down, and die without ergosterol.
- It works very well against dermatophytes, which are common fungi that cause jock itch and ringworm.
Medicine interaction
- Topical luliconazole doesn't interact with many things, but:
- Do not use with other antifungal creams unless your doctor tells you to. It could change how well it works.
- Unless your doctor tells you to, don't use topical steroids on the same place more than once. They can hide infections.
- Keep LULIFORD and other skin care products apart for 20 to 30 minutes.
How to Use
- Make sure to wash and dry the region that is affected well.
- Put a thin coating over the area that is affected and 1 inch past the edge.
- Gently rub it in until it is gone.
- Use once a day, ideally at night.
- Most infections will go away in one to two weeks, but your doctor may tell you to keep going longer.
- After applying, wash your hands.
- Don't use on skin that is damaged or very irritated.
