How It Works
- Tamsulosin is a specific type of α-1 adrenergic blocker.

Medicine Interaction
- Be careful when using:
- Antihypertensive medicines cause a big reduction in blood pressure.
- Other α-blockers → more hypotension
- Strong antifungals like itraconazole and ketoconazole
- Macrolide antibiotics, like clarithromycin and erythromycin
- Inhibitors of HIV protease (ritonavir)
- Warfarin → may change INR
- Drinking alcohol makes you feel more dizzy.
How to Use
- Every day, after the same meal, take one tablet.
- Do not crumble or chew; just swallow.
- If you feel dizzy during the day, take it at night.
- If you miss a dose, don't take it again; just skip it.
- Don't stop taking your medicine without talking to your doctor first.
