Pregnancy Interaction
- Not Safe or Recommended During Pregnancy
- In general, pregnant women shouldn't take Tacrovera (Tacrolimus) unless it's really necessary. It can cross the placenta and have an effect on the kidneys of the fetus or its overall growth.
- Only use if a professional (a transplant doctor or dermatologist, depending on the reason) tells you to.
- If you use it on your skin, it doesn't get into your body very much, but you should still be careful.
- Always tell your doctor if you are pregnant, want to get pregnant, or have missed your period.
Faq For Medicine
Q1. Is Tacrovera Solution a steroid?
No. It is not a steroid; it is an immunosuppressant (calcineurin inhibitor).
Q2. Is it okay to put Tacrovera Solution on my face?
Yes, if a doctor says so. Tacrolimus is often used to treat atopic dermatitis, eczema, vitiligo, and face dermatitis. Don't use it near your eyes or mouth unless your doctor says it's okay.
Q3. How long does it take to see results?
Usually 1 to 3 weeks, however it depends on the situation.
Q4: Can I stop it all at once?
Do not stop suddenly when using a transplant. You can stop using it for dermatology once your symptoms become better, but only if your doctor tells you to.
Q5. Does it make you want to do it again?
No. It does not make you dependent. Can women who are breastfeeding use it? Topical use: generally safe with care.
Oral/transplant solution: not suggested for nursing.
Q6. Does Tacrovera Solution make you feel like you're burning?
Yes, it's normal to feel a little burning or warmth in the first few days.

How It Works
- Tacrovera (Tacrolimus) is an immunosuppressant that acts by:
- Stopping calcineurin, an enzyme that immune cells need to work.
- Topical usage lessens inflammation and the immunological response in skin disorders.
- Preventing the body from rejecting an organ following a transplant (systemic usage).
- This makes the irritation, redness, and swelling go down.
