Sparcid DS 1000mg Syrup is used in the treatment of intestinal ulcers and stomach ulcers.

Pregnancy interaction:

Sparcid DS 1000mg Syrup is probably safe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.

Expert advice:

Do not take the Sparcid ds at least 2 hours before or after taking other medicines. It may interact with these other medicines Take Sparcid ds on an empty stomach, preferably 1 hour before a meal. Avoid taking antacids, before or after 30 minutes of taking a dose of Sparcid ds. Notify your doctor if you have a kidney disorder, as it may put you at a greater risk of developing aluminum overload. Notify your doctor, if you are or planning to become pregnant.
