How to use:
Take one 150mg tablet once a month, on the same day each month, or as your doctor tells you to.
When you wake up, drink a full glass of plain water (at least 200 ml) with it.
You should not lie down, eat, or drink anything else for at least 30 minutes after taking the tablet.
Do not chew or crumble the tablet; just swallow it whole.
Eat foods that are high in calcium and vitamin D, as advised.
Important: Taking the wrong amount could make it harder to absorb or irritate the esophagus.
How it works:
Risofos has Risedronate Sodium in it, which is a bisphosphonate that
It attaches to bone tissues and stops osteoclasts, the cells that tear down bone, from working.
This slows down the process of bone resorption, which lets osteoblasts (cells that make bones) make stronger bones.
Over time, this leads to stronger bones and a lower risk of breaking them.
