Uses / Indications:

Carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) 1% is an artificial tear solution used for: Dry eye syndrome (due to aging, computer use, or environmental factors) Eye irritation from wind, smoke, or pollution Burning, redness, and discomfort in the eyes Relief after eye surgery or laser procedures (as prescribed) Lubrication in case of contact lens–related dryness (check label if suitable for contact lens users)

Pregnancy interaction:

Pregnancy: Considered safe for use during pregnancy, as it acts locally on the eyes with minimal systemic absorption. Breastfeeding: Safe to use while breastfeeding. No significant risk to infants expected
