Reclimet Tablet is used in the treatment of type 2 diabetes.

Pregnancy interaction:

How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Reclimet Tablet is to be taken with food.This medicine may cause stomach upset if taken empty stomach.

How it works:

Reclimet Tablet is a combination of two antidiabetic medicines: Gliclazide and Metformin. Gliclazide is a sulfonylurea which works by increasing the amount of insulin released by the pancreas in order to lower the blood glucose. Metformin is a biguanide which works by lowering glucose production in the liver, delaying glucose absorption from intestines and increasing the body's sensitivity to insulin.
