- Prostodin 250 mcg Injection is used for:
- Treatment of postpartum hemorrhage (PPH) caused by a weak uterus
- Control of heavy bleeding after childbirth when other drugs fail
- Termination of pregnancy (second trimester) under stringent medical supervision
How It Works
- Carboprost Tromethamine, a synthetic prostaglandin (PGF2α), is in Prostodin.
- It makes the uterus contract very strongly.
