Pregabanyl Plus Capsule is a combination of five medications: vitamin B6 (pyridoxine), methylcobalamin, folic acid, alpha lipoic acid, and pregabalin. The brain and nerve tissues are protected by alpha lipoic acid, a naturally occurring fatty acid. The nerves receive vital nutrients from folic acid. Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) and methylcobalamin are two types of vitamin B that aid in the synthesis of myelin, a material that repairs injured nerve cells and shields nerve fibers. Pregabalin is an alpha 2 delta ligand that reduces pain by altering the activation of calcium channels in nerve cells. They work together to alleviate neuropathic pain, or pain resulting from damaged nerves.
