How it works:

Povidone Iodine and Ornidazole are the two medications that make up Povidot-OZ Ointment. An antiseptic called povidone iodine is administered to infected or susceptible skin. Iodine is released gradually, killing or stopping the growth of pathogenic germs. An antibiotic called ornidazole damages the DNA of bacteria and other infectious germs to cause their death.
