Lignocaine (a local anesthetic)

Medicines interaction
- There aren't many topical interactions, but you should stay away from
- Other steroid creams on the same spot
- Using harsh washes and antiseptics that make things worse
- Using different creams with local anesthetics on the same area
- Long-term use can cause systemic steroid effects, but this is unusual.
- Tell your doctor if you are on blood pressure drugs, MAO inhibitors, or vasoconstrictor drugs (because of phenylephrine).
How to Use
- Wash the region around the anus and pat it dry.
- Gently spread a thin coating around the anus.
- Internal Application (Applicator)
- Before using, clean the applicator.
- Put the applicator on the tube and screw it on.
- Only put the tip in 1–2 cm (don't push it in too far).
- To put on the ointment, gently squeeze the tube.
- After each usage, take off the applicator and clean it.
- How often
- Use it 2 to 3 times a day, especially after using the bathroom and before bed.
