How It Works
- There are two strong anti-infective agents in Oflokem OZ:
- Ofloxacin
- Fluoroquinolone antibiotic
- Stops DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV from working
- Stops bacteria from growing and making copies of themselves
- Ornidazole
- Anti-protozoal nitroimidazole
- Destroys the DNA of protozoa and anaerobic bacteria
- It kills the germs that cause amoebiasis, giardiasis, and dysentery.
- They work well together to treat infections that are both aerobic and anaerobic, as well as protozoal infections.

- Tell your doctor if you take:
- Stay away from together:
- Alcohol (very bad response with Ornidazole)
- Antacids
- Supplements of iron, zinc, and calcium
- Vitamins for many things
- Side effects that get worse:
- Steroids (risk of tendon rupture)
- NSAIDs (risk of seizures)
- Anti-arrhythmics (risk of QT prolongation)
- Antipsychotics
- Warfarin and other blood thinners
- Lessens absorption:

How to Use
- Take one pill twice a day or as directed.
- Take with water and swallow whole.
- You can take it with or without food.
- Keep a 12-hour break between dosages.
- Do NOT miss doses.
- Finish the whole course, which normally lasts 3 to 7 days, depending on the infection.
