Normovent Syrup is used in the treatment of dry cough.

How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Normovent Syrup may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.Take it with food if stomach upset occurs.

How it works:

Normovent Syrup is a combination of two medicines: Chlorpheniramine and Codeine which relieve dry cough. Chlorpheniramine is an antiallergic. It blocks the action of a chemical messenger (histamine) which may trigger cough due to allergy. Codeine is a cough suppressant. It suppresses cough by reducing the activity of cough centre in the brain.
