Uses / Indications:
Melalite Forte Cream is used for:
Melasma (chloasma) is when dark patches appear, often because of hormonal changes or pregnancy.
Freckles and skin color changes caused by the sun
Hyperpigmentation that happens after acne or an accident
Age patches, sometimes called lentigines
Uneven skin tone or dark areas on the skin after being in the sun
Pregnancy interaction:
Be careful when using it while pregnant.
Animal studies suggest possible hazards, but there isn't enough data on humans.
It should only be taken if a dermatologist says so and it's evident that you need it.
Don't use it on big areas of skin or for long periods of time when pregnant.
Category C for pregnancy
Breastfeeding:
The substance is not known to go into breast milk in large amounts.
To keep babies from getting sick, don't put it on or around the chest area.
Expert advice:
Only put it on the parts of your face that are impacted.
Use sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher during the day because Melalite Forte Cream makes skin more sensitive to sunlight.
While using this cream, stay away from harsh soaps, scrubs, and other bleaching agents.
Stop right away if you notice redness, itching, or extreme irritation.
Don't use it for more than three months unless your doctor tells you to.
Do a patch test before using it for the first time by putting a small amount on the inside of your forearm for 24 hours.
Side Effects:
Normal:
A little redness, dryness, or irritation
A burning or stinging feeling
Peeling or slight swelling
Serious (not often):
Very bad allergic reaction (swelling, redness, trouble breathing)
Ochronosis (blue-black pigmentation) after long-term use
More sensitive skin to sunlight
How to use:
Before applying, make sure the area is clean and dry.
Apply a thin layer of Melalite Forte Cream once a day at night, or as prescribed.
Gently rub until the area is even.
Don't let it touch your eyes, lips, or open wounds.
After applying, wash your hands.
During the day, use sunscreen that protects against a wide range of UV rays.
Without medical advice, don't use it all the time for more than 2–3 months.
How it works:
Hydroquinone stops the enzyme tyrosinase, which is needed for skin cells to make melanin.
This lowers the amount of melanin in the skin, which makes it lighter and makes dark areas fade.
➡️ Effect: The hyperpigmented areas will slowly go lighter, and the skin tone will be more even.
