Uses / Indications:

Maltolan 5mg Tablet is used in the treatment of schizophrenia and mania.

Pregnancy interaction:

Maltolan 5mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Works well in schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, including difficult cases. Allow at least 4 to 6 weeks to see full effects on thoughts and mood. You may feel dizziness and drowsiness when you start taking Maltolan. For the first week, avoid activities that require you to be alert. Maltolan may cause weight gain, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and high blood sugar. Tell your doctor if you have any unusual thoughts or behavior, inability to control muscle movements, or fever and excess sweating. Elderly people with dementia shouldn't take Maltolan. Avoid cigarette smoking as it can decrease Maltolan blood levels.

How to use:
