Uses / Indications:

Lumet AT Injection is used in the treatment of malaria. It is not used to prevent malaria or to treat severe malaria (where it has affected the brain, lungs or kidneys).

Pregnancy interaction:

Lumet AT Injection may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Do not start or continue the artesunate tablets and consult your doctor If you are allergic (hypersensitive) to artesunate.Do not start or continue the artesunate tablets and consult your doctor you are in first 3 months of pregnancy or If you are breast feeding.Do not drive or operate machinery after taking artesunate because you may feel sleepy.
