- - Don't put it on or near the nipple.
- - Don't use it on big areas or for a long time.
FAQs for Medicine?
Q1. What is the purpose of LULIFORD-B Cream?
It is used to treat skin infections caused by fungi that cause redness, swelling, itching, and inflammation.
Q2. Is there a steroid in it?
Yes. It has beclomethasone in it, which is a mild to moderate topical steroid.
Q3. Is it okay to put it on my face?
Dermatologists should only tell you to use steroid-containing lotions on your face.
Q4. For how long should I use the cream?
Usually 1 to 2 weeks, or as directed. Don't use it for a long time because it has steroids in it.
Q5. Can it be used to stop itching even if there is no fungal infection?
Not advised unless diagnosed, as improper use may exacerbate the skin issue.
Q6. When will I start to feel better?
In 3 to 5 days, but to be completely cured, you need to finish the whole course.
Q7. Is it safe for kids?
Be careful when using. Before giving steroids to kids, talk to a doctor.
Expert advice
- Only use the cream for the time it says to (don't use it for a long time because it has steroids in it).
- As advised, put on a thin coating once or twice a day.
- Do not put this on damaged skin, open wounds, or sensitive regions like the face, groin (unless your doctor tells you to), or underarms.
- Do not cover the region with dressings that are too tight.
- Keep the region clean and dry to stay healthy.
- Don't discontinue treatment suddenly if your symptoms become better quickly.
- Don't share personal things like towels to avoid becoming sick again.
side effects
- Feeling of burning
- Itchy
- Redness
- Dryness
- A little irritation
- Because of abusing steroids or using them for a long time:
- Skin getting thinner
- Marks from stretching
- Changes in the color of the skin
- Skin is getting increasingly sensitive.
- More hair growth in the area where it was applied
Not very common:
- Allergic reactions include rashes, extreme redness, and swelling.
- If you have a serious allergy or irritation, see a doctor.
How It Works
- Luliconazole (an antifungal)
- It stops the production of ergosterol, which is an important element of fungal cell membranes.
- Damages the walls of fungal cells, which kills them.
- Works against dermatophytes that cause ringworm, jock itch, and athlete's foot.
- Beclomethasone (a kind of corticosteroid):
- It helps with swelling, redness, itching, and inflammation.
- Suppresses immunological mediators to quickly ease symptoms.
- Combination action: Treats fungal infections and lowers inflammation at the same time.
Medicines interaction
- Interactions are rare because it is a topical drug.
- Don't use at the same time as:
- Other steroids that are applied to the skin
- Other antifungal creams (unless a doctor tells you to use them)
- Putting on cosmetic creams or moisturizers right away on the same spot
- Strong irritants, like scrubbing and treatments that contain alcohol
- There are no known significant medication interactions in the system.
How to Use
- Use mild soap to wash the region that is affected, and then dry it fully.
- Get a tiny amount of LULIFORD-B Cream.
- Put a thin coating on the affected skin and one inch surrounding it.
- Follow your doctor's instructions and use it once or twice a day.
- Don't wrap it up too tightly.
- After application, wash your hands (unless you're treating your hands).
- Keep using it for the complete course of treatment, even if your symptoms get better early.
- Don't use it for more than two weeks unless your doctor tells you to.
