Saroglitazar, a dual action peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor (PPAR) inhibitor, is found in Lipaglyn Tablet and helps to regulate high cholesterol, particularly triglycerides, and blood sugar levels in persons with type 2 diabetes. It works by a unique mechanism that inhibits the synthesis and release of triglycerides. It also enhances insulin sensitivity, allowing the body to better utilize current insulin and so lower blood sugar levels.
