How it works:

Jalra-M 50mg/1000mg Tablet combines two antidiabetic medications: metformin and vildagliptin. Metformin is an anti-diabetic drug (biguanide). It works by reducing glucose synthesis in the liver, slowing glucose absorption in the intestines, and boosting insulin sensitivity. Vildagliptin is a DPP-4 inhibitor that acts by raising insulin secretion from the pancreas while reducing chemicals that elevate blood sugar levels. This lowers both fasting and postprandial sugar levels. When used together, they improve blood sugar control.
