How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Glycodin Activ Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.Avoid Glycodin Activ Tablet with caffeine and chocolate as well as food containing caffeine and chocolate such as tea leaves, cocoa beans.

How it works:

Glycodin Activ Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Paracetamol / Acetaminophen, Caffeine and Phenylpropanolamine which relieve common cold symptoms. Paracetamol / Acetaminophen is a analgesic (pain reliever) and anti-pyretic (fever reducer) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that causes fever and pain. Caffeine increases the effectiveness of paracetamol. Phenylpropanolamine is a sympathomimetic agonist. It narrows blood vessels in the nose to relieve congestion.
