Galitra 100mg Tablet is used in the treatment of fungal infections. It is used to treat fungal infections of the mouth or vagina (thrush), skin and other parts of the body such as finger and toenails.

Galitra 100mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Your doctor has prescribed Galitra to cure your infection and improve symptoms. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Do not take it with any heartburn medications - especially proton pump inhibitors and H2 blockers. Requires an acidic pH for absorption. Hence, take it with a full meal for best results. Notify your doctor if you have taken steroids recently.

Please consult your doctor if you are asked to take Galitra and you are already taking oral contraceptives.|Does Galitra treat ringworm (dermatophytoses)? : Yes, Galitra is used to treat ringworm (known as dermatophytoses e.g. tinea pedis, tinea cruris, tinea corporis, tinea manuum).|Does Galitra cause an increase in blood pressure? : An increase in blood pressure has been seen with Galitra in some studies. However, this is not a very common side effect. Please consult your doctor in case you have a history of high blood pressure or you are experiencing high blood pressure after taking Galitra.|Does Galitra cause erectile dysfunction? : Yes, Galitra can rarely cause erectile dysfunction (erection problems). Please consult your doctor if you experience this problem.|Does Galitra cause weight gain? : Weight gain has not been reported as an adverse effect with Galitra. However, if you experience unexpected weight gain with Galitra, this could be an indication of an underlying heart problem. Do not stop the medicine until told by your doctor.|Does Galitra have penicillin in it? : No, Galitra does not have penicillin in it.|Does Galitra make you tired? : Galitra does not make you tired.
