How it works:

Three medications are combined in Gabanyl Gel: Baclofen, lidocaine, and gabapentin. By altering the calcium channel activity of nerve cells, the alpha-2 delta ligand gabapentin reduces pain. A local anesthetic called lidocaine reduces pain perception by obstructing pain signals from the nerves to the brain. Baclofen relaxes muscles.
