Description:
Pregnancy interaction
- When taken in the right amounts, Dynacid Advance Syrup is usually safe to use during pregnancy and nursing.
- It should still be used only under a doctor’s guidance, especially in:
- Women who are pregnant and have kidney disease
- People who are on a low-salt diet (which has sodium)
- History of kidney stones or elevated blood calcium levels
- It is not safe to take antacids for a long time or in large doses during pregnancy without a doctor's supervision since too much of them can mess up the balance of electrolytes and acid-base.
- If you notice any strange symptoms like constant vomiting, swelling, trouble breathing, or severe constipation or diarrhea, you should stop taking the prescription and get medical care right away.
FAQ For Medicine ?
Q1. What is the purpose of Dynacid Advance 150 ml Syrup?
It helps with heartburn, indigestion, gas, and acid reflux quickly.
Q2. Is it safe to use Dynacid Advance every day?
Your doctor may tell you to use it for short-term relief. It is not a good idea to use it every day for a long time without talking to a doctor.
Q3. Can I consume this syrup during pregnancy?
Yes, if your doctor gives you a prescription, it is usually safe. Don't take medicine on your own when pregnant.
Q4. How fast does it work?
It normally starts working within a few minutes by neutralizing acid and forming a barrier in the stomach that protects it.
Q5. Is it okay to take Dynacid Advance with other drugs?
Yes, however, you should wait at least two hours between taking this syrup and any other oral medicines because it can change how well they work.
Q6. Is there sugar in it?
Most of the time, you can get Dynacid Advance without sugar, which is good for many people with diabetes. People with diabetes should still check with their doctor or pharmacist.
Q7. Is it safe for kids to drink this syrup?
Only a pediatrician should tell you to give this to a child, and the dose should be changed as needed.
Q8. What should I do if my symptoms don't get better?
You should consult a doctor if you have acidity or heartburn that lasts for more than 7–14 days or keeps coming back. This will help rule out ulcers, GERD, or other disorders.
Expert advice
- Use Dynacid Advance to help with heartburn, acidity, and indigestion for a brief time; it doesn't fix the problem that causes chronic acid reflux.
- Always shake the bottle well and use the measuring cup to get the right dose.
- Keep this syrup at least two hours apart from other oral medicines, such as iron, thyroid, and some antibiotics.
- Don't use them too much; using too many antacids can cause constipation, diarrhea, or changes in electrolytes.
- Along with the syrup, here are some guidelines for living a healthy life:
- Stay away from food that is heavy, spicy, fried, or excessively oily.
- Instead of big, hefty meals, eat little meals often.
- Don't lie down right after eating; wait at least 2–3 hours.
- Don't smoke or drink too much tea, coffee, soft drinks, or alcohol.
- If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have diabetes, high blood pressure, kidney illness, or heart disease, you should always talk to your doctor before using it consistently.
Side effects
- Feeling sick or throwing up a little
- Constipation
- Diarrhea or feces that are too loose
- Feeling bloated, gassy, or uncomfortable in the stomach
- A taste in mouth that is metallic or somewhat different
- If you have serious (rare) adverse effects, you should consult a doctor right away.
- If you have an allergy, you may have a rash, itchy skin, swelling of the face, lips, or tongue, or trouble breathing.
- Severe or long-lasting vomiting and stomach pain
- Very bad constipation or diarrhea that doesn't get better
- If you notice any alarming symptoms, stop taking the drug and see a doctor.
How It Works
- Calcium Carbonate with Sodium Bicarbonate
- Work like antacids.
- They balance out too much stomach acid, which instantly lowers acidity and eases pain and burning.
- Sodium Alginate
- When stomach acid is present, it turns into a thick, gel-like "raft" that floats on top of the contents of the stomach.
- This raft works as a mechanical barrier to keep acid from going back into the food pipe (esophagus).
- This helps with acid reflux, heartburn, and throwing up.
- Together, the three substances quickly and permanently relieve acidity and reflux by neutralizing acid and stopping reflux.
Drug Interaction
- Dynacid Advance can change how well some oral drugs work or how well they are absorbed.
- General interaction
- It can lower or delay the absorption of drugs that need an acidic environment by neutralizing stomach acid.
- If your doctor doesn't tell you to do something else, you should always wait at least two hours between taking Dynacid Advance and other medicines.
- Some drugs that might be affected (this is not a complete list):
- Some antibiotics, such tetracyclines and fluoroquinolones
- Supplements of iron and other minerals
- Levothyroxine and other thyroid medications
- Some antifungals and antivirals
- Some medications for heart disease or high blood pressure
- Things to be careful about
- People with heart failure, high blood pressure, or kidney illness who are on a sodium-restricted diet should only use this with a doctor's supervision.
- People who have kidney illness or are prone to kidney stones should talk to a doctor before using this.
- Always tell your doctor about all the vitamins, minerals, and herbal products you are taking.
How to Use
- Before each usage, shake the bottle well.
- Use the measuring cup or spoon that comes with it to measure the dose.
- You can take it with or without food. Most people prefer to take it after meals or when they start to feel sick.
- Do not mix the syrup with a lot of water right away unless you are told to.
- Follow the instructions on the label or from your doctor, and don't take more than the suggested amount or frequency.
- Without talking to a doctor, you shouldn't use it for more than 1–2 weeks in a row.
- Keep it at room temperature, out of direct sunlight, and out of reach of kids.
- Don't freeze. If you keep it for a long time, shake it up and check the expiration date before using it.
