Doxy 1UP 1000mg Tablet is used to treat bacterial infections including typhoid fever. It treats bacterial infections of the tonsils, sinuses, ear, nose, throat, skin, soft tissues, windpipe, and lungs (pneumonia).
Pregnancy interaction:
Doxy 1 UP 1000mg Tablet is probably safe to take while pregnant. Animal research have demonstrated that there is little or no negative effect on the foetus; nevertheless, there are few human studies. Please visit a doctor.
Expert advice:
Doxy 1 up will cure your infection and improve symptoms. It may cause an upset stomach. If this happens to you, take it with food. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Diarrhea may occur as a side effect but should stop when your course is complete. Inform your doctor if it doesn't stop or if you find blood in your stools. Do not take antacids 2 hours before or after taking Doxy 1 up.
