Desirox 500mg Tablet is used in the treatment of iron overload and transfusion dependent thalassemia.

Pregnancy interaction:

Desirox 500mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Always take deferasirox tablet on an empty stomach by dissolving into a glass of water.Do not chew, crush, break or swallow the tablets as a whole.Deferasirox may cause dizziness.
