Cordox 100mg Tablet is used in the treatment of bacterial infections.
Pregnancy interaction:
Cordox 100mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy.There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
Expert advice:
Your doctor has prescribed Cordox to cure your infection and improve symptoms. Take Cordox with food and plenty of fluids to avoid an upset stomach and acid reflux. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Do not take calcium, antacids or iron at least 2 hours before or 6 hours after taking Cordox. Discontinue Cordox and inform your doctor immediately if you get a rash, itchy skin, swelling of face and mouth, or have difficulty in breathing. Diarrhea may occur as a side effect but should stop when your course is complete. Inform your doctor if it doesn't stop or if you find blood in your stools.

How to use:
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Cordox 100mg Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.Take this medicine one hour before food or two hours after food, with a full glass of water. You can take this medicine with food if it upsets your stomach.Avoid Cordox 100mg Tablet with dairy products such as milk, cheese, curd, butter, paneer and ice cream.

Cordox 100mg Tablet is an antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by inhibiting synthesis of essential proteins, which are required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.
