Description:
Pregnancy interaction
- Topical clindamycin is usually safe to use during pregnancy because it doesn't get into the body very much.
- It should still only be used if a doctor says to.
- Do not use on big regions, broken skin, or irritated skin when you are pregnant.
- Stop right away if you get stomach pain or diarrhea that isn't normal (this is very rare but can happen because of how antibiotics are absorbed).
- Safe to use during breastfeeding as long as it's not on the breast area.
How It Works
- Getting rid of Cutibacterium acnes (P. acnes), the germs that cause acne
- Lessening redness, swelling, and inflammation

- Other topical antibiotics make skin more irritated.
