Uses / Indications:

Citadep 10mg Tablet is used in the treatment of depression, anxiety disorder, phobia, post traumatic stress disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder.

Pregnancy interaction:

Citadep 10mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Expert advice:

It can take 2-3 weeks for Citadep to start working. Do not stop treatment suddenly as this may cause a stomach upset, flu-like withdrawal symptoms and sleep disturbance. If your doctor asks you to stop Citadep, you should reduce the dose slowly over 4 weeks. Avoid consuming alcohol when taking the Citadep, as it may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness. The addiction/dependence potential of Citadep is very less. You may develop anxiety during initiation of therapy.
