ANTEPAR 750 MG SYRUP is used in the treatment of parasitic worm infections.

ANTEPAR 750 MG SYRUP is probably safe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.

â€¢ Inform your doctor if your symptoms do not improve or become worse. â€¢ Always washing all your clothes after treatment to prevent the recurrence of pinworms. â€¢ Tell your doctor if you are or planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding. â€¢ Should nto be given to patients allergic to piperazine or any of its ingredients. â€¢ Should not be given to patients who are suffering from kidney failure or epileptics (fits).

How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. ANTEPAR 750 MG SYRUP may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How it works:

Piperazine belongs to class of drugs called anthelmintic. It works by paralyzing the worms and making them to pass in the stool. It is effective against the intestinal nematodes roundworm (Ascaris lumbricoides), pinworm and threadworm (Enterobius vermicularis). Piperazine produces a neuromuscular block leads to muscle paralysis of the worms which are consequently dislodged and expelled in the faeces.
